Message Board - Cricket: Dome tops lettering removal

1 Dec 2010 by BAS

Guys/girls

We have two set of domes with our current sponsors logos the logos(letters) where heat gunned on ,just been asked if l can remove the lettering in time for next season.

Does anyone know the best way of doing this, cant see them just peeling off as they havent peeled at all since they where heated on.

Anyone got any experience of removing the lettering.

I don't know about covers, but I used a hair dryer to remove these sorts of letters from my caravan.

Errrm . . . Just what exactly do you have written on the sides of your caravan Dave?

And why does it need removing??

anyone able to answer my original question?

One of our guys does lettering (etc etc) for a living so I'll ask him and get back to you BAS.

Of course there's no bounce, bend your back and put some bloody effort in.

I did answer the question, I asked the guy who sold me the new decals for my van,(the old ones were looking tatty) what was best and he said they will peel off nicely with a hair dryer. They did and my caravan looks as new again.

The horse looks a bit ragged mind!

looking at Dave in a new light now - never knew he was one of the pikey's clogging up our roads.

Of course there's no bounce, bend your back and put some bloody effort in.
