Message Board - Artificial Turf: New 3G at One-Leisure

Work is due to start next week on our new 3G artificial FIFA 1 star carpet. The project is aimed to be completed in October-November time and the surface will bring great qualities to the centre.
I must say its going to be a good size the carpet itself measures 107m x 71 i believe so its a fairley big artificial surface. The full size carpet will be marked into thirds for 7A-Side and then marked again using different coloured lines to mark out 4 5A-Side pitches.
In the long run it will take alot of pressure of our full size sand infill carpet as at this present time we have football every day during the week and also hockey is played. Sometimes on a weekend we can have upto 6 hockey games on during the day.
Hopefully when everything is completed here at One-Leisure it will be a massive advantage having the new surface.
Yes i do no who contractors are but im not the kind of groundsman to reveal that on a public site as its not relavent to other users.
