Should I be worried

The grass on my cricket square has a slightly yellow appearance in patches this seems to be the case all over the field around the square. It doesn't look as aggresive as leaf spot and there is still plenty of green grass covering the area. Is this a problem or just an early in the year thing. I would like to know so I f I need to include more info please let me know. Please note we didn't brush the square at all over the winter period due to lack of time is this the root of the problem??

worried

richard the grass on my tennis courts nearly always looks like that this time of year mainly due to the cold weather and the nature of the ryegrass not realy producing the best colour particulary during winter in which the sward gets a rusty yellow tinge.the grass soon recovers once the temperatures increase.always try to brush early morning to disperse to reduce fungal attack.need any more info reply
