Message Board - Irrigation: Self travelling sprinklers
19 Apr 2011 by Monty
Hi guys,
With all this dry weather we are having we are starting to think about watering, what licenses do we need and how much do they cost?
Can anyone recommend a self travelling sprinker that runs on around 2 bar pressure.
Cheers guys
It's a lot less bother with a hover!

National Walking Gear Sprinkler works better for me on our low pressure supply than the Nelson. Both available in Pitchcare Shop.

Blimey monty "thinking about watering". Where are you, west coast of Scotland?
It's so dry down here, Ive been soaking the square for 2 weeks now.
What do I do? I just cut the grass.

We've had only 1 mm this month so far until yesterday when 3mm fell in a downpour. The match pitch was under the mobiles when it started and they were duly shoved off to get some moisture on it.
I put them back on when it ended (Wot? Me get wet??!!) to keep the moisture in ahead of a wee roll this morning.
Perfect timing Mr. Shower Meister!
I know no boundaries.
