School Groundskeeper help

I'm going to take over the groundskeeping at the school where I am already the caretaker, obviously I am going to need public liability insurance, are there any other insurances or other certificates I need in order to do this legally?

I am starting self employment for this, do I need a CIS card? or anything like that?

any feedback would be appreciated

Insurances

The IOG recently introduced some good new insurance schemes for their members which are probably what you need. They have a contractors insurance policy which includes professional indemnity, employees and public liability. It's not that easy to find this sort of cover - I think they are doing van insurance at special rates, I haven't tried that one but I got a very good deal on my car insurance.

Good luck

Hope this helps

Dave
