moss/overseeding

In the search box, top left, type in 'moss' and 'overseeding'; you should find some useful information.

As to type of seed, I would suggest you contact local groundsman and see what they find works best in your area. Unless there are any that look at these pages?

moss

James,
Use lawn sand in a pedestrian spreader,
its more affective than a liquid form.
Or a granular spring fertilizer with iron in it this will harden up the grass and reduce the moss.. Then get your spiker out to keep the surface open,to drain away the rain.If you do not creaate the right environment for strong heaalthy grass to grow then moss will .
Is the moss growing in the northern area and is it shaded by trees that can be pruned?
