Message Board - Cricket: Sisis TrioRotorake Chain Tension

5 Sep 2011 by John Barnett

On the Sisis TrioRotorake the manual states to adjust drive chain tension, loosen 4 engine mounting bolts and move engine back/forward to adjust tension. However it does not specify what chain tension should be i.e. +/- 1/2" play at centre.
Does anyone know what tension should be?

Got one of these and I just slightly slackened the four bolts and knocked the engine backwards using a piece of wood as a drift. Like you say no mention of tension. I just got it to about half an inch at it's tight spot and it works fine.
Just make sure the engine is "square" when you've finished.
