Message Board - Cricket: Renovation on cricket square

19 Oct 2011 by Freddie09

Any advice on a cricket square, said to have been scarified, spiked but clearly hasn't. Has had a slight scattering of seed and no where near a covering of top dressing, this has left bare ends etc.. and even parts have been turfed. With it getting so late in the year for work on the square and really wet any advice on what could be done.

Could we all have a bit more information on the situation, maybe some photographs etc and could you indicate your interest, ie are you a contractor, player, club official etc? Sounds a bit dire, especially the returfing. Plus, where are you in the country, the season is drawing in rapidly up north but still plyable down south. I'm sure someone can help with more information.
