rotary mower blades

Hi

I am a student doing ND Sports Turf and i am wondering how to sharpening of blades on rotary mowers and how to balance the blades on the machine.

Blade sharpening

Sharpening can either be done by a professional machine or if you have just a few like us we just use a made jig to get the angle correct then put them on the grinding wheel then use a blade balancer to keep them even.
If you have none of all of the above a good file to sharpen and a screwdriver through the middle will show the balance of the blade.
