‘Essential Management Skills’ courseNew course dates for 2007Pitchcare is pleased to announce that it will be running its successful ‘Essential Management Skills’ course at various locations in Autumn/Winter 2007. The course is delivered by trainer and careers counsellor Frank Newberry. Frank, a regular contributor to the Pitchcare magazine, has trained Groundsmen and Greenkeepers for more than 15 years and this course is aimed at helping those in a supervisory or management position to acquire a range of vital management skills and put them into practice successfully in the workplace. Unlike generic management training, Pitchcare’s course content has been developed specifically to suit Groundsmen and Greenkeepers, which is essential if delegates are to successfully implement their new skills in the workplace. Three months separate the two days so delegates have the opportunity to implement new techniques and then feed their experiences back to the group.
