The response to the problems and the offers of assistance from companies and professionals within the industry was immediate and made me feel proud to be part of it. Pitchcare was involved in organising a seminar for flood affected clubs, and I know from the letters and emails I received that the help was greatly appreciated. I am pleased we were able to assist. 2008 - who knows what it will bring? Wembley will be watched with interest, and there will certainly be some ongoing issues resulting from the failed merger between BIGGA and the IOG. The industry needs a united voice. More and more legislation is impacting on all areas of our work and we need to be able to lobby and argue our case if the need arises.
