| Courses in the Midlands - Booking Now |
Places are now available on the following General Sports Turf Maintenance Courses in the Midlands.
These 1-day, theory-based courses, accredited by Lantra Awards, have been designed particularly for the volunteer or part-time groundsman who has little or no professional training, typically a person looking after their local town or village sports pitch. They aim to provide comprehensive basic knowledge of the safe and efficient operation of the machinery and equipment used to maintain the playing surface throughout a 12 month period.
The course manual, a copy of which is given to each delegate, includes working diaries showing the range of tasks needed to be accomplished each month.
The courses would also be useful for a young person interested in developing a career as a groundsman or greenkeeper.
Each course costs £120.00 + VAT per person which includes the course manual, refreshments and lunch. Each delegate receives a Lantra Awards Certificate of Attendance.
