A 1-day, theory-based course, accredited by Lantra Awards, and run by our MD, Dave Saltman. This course has been designed particularly for the volunteer or part-time groundsman who has little or no professional training. The course would also be useful for a young person interested in developing a career as a groundsman.
It aims to provide comprehensive basic knowledge of the safe and efficient operation of the machinery and equipment used to maintain the playing surface throughout a 12 month period.
The course manual, a copy of which is given to each delegate, includes working diaries showing the range of tasks needed to be accomplished each month.
The course costs £120.00 + VAT per person which includes the course manual, refreshments and lunch. Each delegate receives a Lantra Awards Certificate of Attendance.
