| General Turf Maintenance Equipment Course (Winter Sports) |
Now accredited by Lantra Awards, this course is designed to provide a basic knowledge of grounds maintenance for winter sporting surfaces and will be of equal benefit to those who work alone on a sports ground, including volunteers and part time grounds people, or members of groundstaff teams.
It covers the theory of using machinery and equipment safely and efficiently and includes demonstrations of the skills required to provide, maintain and renovate the playing surface before, during and after the playing season.
You’ll pick up lots of tips and advice, as well as receiving a Winter Sports Turf Maintenance Manual, which includes a 12 month maintenance diary, to take away with you.

A one-off Part 3 workshop presented by Frank Newberry and turf care professional Paul Woodham, looking at Health and Safety issues and Problem Solving at Work - people, performance, change etc. Real life problems will be tackled and solution options generated. Take back a list of solution options and practical methods to use at work. Share thoughts, ideas and 'best practice' with colleagues in the same role.
