It's that time of the year when the end of season renovation plans are well underway for the winter sports guys, hollow coring and topdressing programmes for the golf teams and pre-season rolling, final repairs and closer mowing for the summer sports. The clocks go forward this weekend, so with the longer days and more sunshine (fingers crossed), the temperatures should start to rise quickly, warming the soil and promoting growth and recovery.
