Cricket Pitch Maintenance Course Wolverhampton CC

Specifically for volunteers and part-time groundsmen working at a local cricket club.

This one day course is being held at Wolverhampton Cricket Club on Tuesday 15th April.

Training
The course instructor is Alan Lewis, one of the most respected Groundsmen and lecturers in the industry. Former Head Groundsman at Shrewsbury School and winner of the Master Groundsman of the Year award, Alan regularly presents training courses for the RFU, the FA and the ECB.

You will learn about the skills required for cricket pitch maintenance, including: -

* Mowing
* Scarification
* Aeration
* Fertiliser application
* Watering
* Rolling
* Renovation
* Marking out the pitch
* Care of the outfield
* Maintenance of non-turf pitches
* Health & Safety and safe working practices

In addition, you will receive a comprehensive manual of the day's training which includes an easy to follow month by month annual maintenance schedule.

The cost of the course is £85 plus VAT, and includes lunch, refreshments, the working manual and a Pitchcare Certificate of Attendance.
