Technical Merit Award
Hello . October's winner of the ever popular Technical Merit Award 2003 in association with Tillers Turf is Kevin Nichols who's 42 and lives in Marston Moretaine in Bedfordshire. Kevin has chosen to take a Relaxing Spa Day as his prize.

Kevin's associated with Eversholt Cricket Club where he played for over 30 years. For the last 11 years, Kevin has been more interested in the Grounds side of the club, and he has taken several courses organised by the ECB and the IOG. He is soon to be promoted to the position of Head Groundsman.

Kevin says "I take pride in producing a good all-round surface for all ages, from the under 11's to the first team."

Just one chance remaining
We are in the final month of the Award, and getting closer to the announcement of the winner of the £2000 main prize. You need to get cracking if you want to put your name in the hat. The November stage is now underway and you have until the 30th November at midnight to answer 8 multiple choice questions and, optionally the topical issue question.

You will receive one free entry into the monthly draw for each multiple choice question that you answer correctly, and the prize is to be chosen from this list. If you choose to complete the topical issue question, your answer will be read by our panel of judges, and you stand a chance of winning the Technical Merit Award 2003 and a luxury all-inclusive £2000 holiday.
