Active Ingredients: 360 g/l glyphosate present as 480 g/l (41.0% w/w) of the isopropylamine salt.

Asteroid Pro is a glyphosate weed killer which is an extremely effective herbicide when used as directed against most annual and perennial grasses and broad-leaved weeds.

Asteroid Pro Weed Killer is an advanced glyphosate formulation based on Envision® Technology, a unique formulation system developed by Cheminova. It not only brings benefits of reliability of weed control and economics of usage, it presents advantages for the user and the environment.

Droplet Spectrum Control

Asteroid’s Envision® Technology contains a greater percentage of droplets that conform to the optimum size helping to reduce drift and produce a more consistent application and reliable efficacy compared to non-bio formulations.

The specially developed surfactant systems of Envision Technology optimise the safety of Asteriod Pro glyphosate weed killer without compromising field performance. Asteroid Pro is neither classified as harmful nor irritant to users. It is smooth to pour, with minimal dripping and has low foaming characteristics in the sprayer tank.

Bio-formulation:

• A bio-formulation is defined as a formulation which is not classified as harmful to wild-life or the user.
• Traditional glyphosate formulations are generally safe for wild-life but classified as harmful to aquatic organisms. Whereas, Asteroid Pro is not classified as harmful to aquatic organisms.

Increase Coverage:

Optimum coverage of the weed leaf is a prerequisite for a fast and complete uptake of herbicides into the plant. The formulation technology in Asteroid Pro is able to reduce the water tension in the spray solution.

• Increased spreading - flat droplets are able to cover a wider surface area of the target leaf.
• Complete and even distribution of spray liquid on the leaf surface

Improved entry into the plant:

Improved translocation - Traditional formulation aggressively strips off the wax and leaf surface to let glyphosate in, some glyphosate gets locked up as plant cells close down in response to the damage. Asteroid Pro is different, it's unique formulation rapidly draws glyphosate into the plant without stripping off the wax.

• Natural surfaces not intended to bear vegetation, permeable surfaces overlying soil, hard surfaces and land prior to cultivation - 1.5l/ha - 6.0l/ha
• Amenity Vegetation - 1.5l/ha - 5.0l/ha
• Orchards - 4.0l/ha - 5.0l/ha
• Aquatic Use - 5.0l/ha - 6.0l/ha
• Forestry - 3.0l/ha - 10l/ha
• 10% - 20% solution for stump application & chemical thinning
• 2ml neat application for chemical thinning by injection of tree stems
• Water volumes from 80l/ha, depending on situation.
