23 replies - Last reply at 1st Feb 12 08:00:23 - Hi all. I am sure the question has been asked many times, but hey here we go. Our square is suffering incredibly badly with the dreaded worm castes, tried Carbendazim that seems to work for all of a week or so, but my biggest problem is getting rid of very soft castes without smearing them all over the square. When dry a switch does the job very well, it's the "dry" I'm having a problem finding. Has anyone got any good ideas on how to get rid of said castes without preparing seed beds for all and sun

Dubai

11 replies - Last reply at 19th Jan 12 13:37:49 - Apart from the fact it must be the most boring place in the world to play Test cricket, there is another point I'd like to raise. Apparently the square is laid from soil from Pakistan, why? Pakistan produce some of the flattest most boring pitches in the world. If the first two days are anything to go by, this pitch is low slow with no spin as yet.

4 replies - Last reply at 16th Jan 12 16:05:45 - As he walked from the field after his innings, did anyone see David Warner take his chewing gum from his mouth and throw it on the outfield? This is one of my pet hates, along with cigarette butts on the outfield after a senior training night. David Warner may have played a tremendous knock, but he should apologise to cricket groundsman all over the world right now. On a difference note, I'm having a bit of trouble with a mole.. http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/uddingstoncricketclub/news/vicious-mole-a
