Does anyone use kubota tractor

6 replies - Last reply at 10th Feb 12 21:23:37 - We're looking to get a tractor for various uses, mainly lokking after a college football pitch, but also hedge cutting, grass cutting etc. We have a budget of around £5k for the tractor alone, (no attachments), and it needs to be a sensible size for transport etc, looking at around 1.5t, 6' wide as a starting point. We're interested in the Kubota L3250, (40hp, 35hp to the PTO), has anyone used one of these that can give some feedback, or a similar Kubota? Thanks Alex B

4 replies - Last reply at 9th Feb 12 19:02:08 - Hi Does anyone know if you can get the smooth turf tyres that are on the mk5 rotorake to fit onto the mk4 version. I tend to find that the current turf tyres can scuff the turf when turning on bowling greens. Any help or advice appreciated, Many thanks, Iestyn John

Machinery

0 replies - I am looking for an edging machine for in excess of 1 mile of edging, standard rotary metal bladed machines are probably not an option as many of the edges are metal, and are of varying height down onto tarmac, can anyone suggest a machine that might be suitable? Thanks.

This will be different measures of grass and the size of machine will still have to be determined. As my background is golf and sportsfields i was resricted to what advice i could give him but i did say that a Major rear cutter was a fantastic machine but for tractor and Hp size is still a question. Given that 70% is open ground, what tra
