This highly wear tolerant mixture contains the top rated perennial ryegrass Barlennium, giving excellent wear tolerance and colour. Combined with Baronie with its creeping habit (rhizomes), BAR 8 will provide a very strong sward with superb wear tolerance, shoot density and disease resistance Baronie is a fast-establishing smooth-stalked meadowgrass which offers excellent recovery. Revitalisation is further strengthened by the outstanding recovery characteristic of Romance.

In my opinion the best blend of cultivars on the market for stadia and football pitches. This mixture is excellent to cover all scenarios and importantly gives even colour. Barlennium and romance germinate at quite low temperatures which is great for early spring or autumn where overseeding is required.
