Overview
Hexapath is a permanent ground reinforcement system which has been developed to reinforce a wide range of surfaces including parking areas, gravel driveways, golf courses & paths and much more. Hexapath is so strong, that it can be used to reinforce helipads.
Manufactured in 100% recycled polypropylene and UV stabilised, the unique Hexapath paving system offers environmentally friendly solutions to soil erosion and drainage problems. The product is designed to support grass growth within the cells whilst allowing water to naturally penetrate into the subsoil.
Hexapath will withstand 270 tons per square metre; easily supporting cars, golf buggies, and pedestrians. It is also suitable to support heavy vehicles for a short period e.g. for maintenance vehicles.
Hexapath can be infilled with loose 10-15mm gravel to create an attractive path or driveway, which will add a whole new level of class to a golf course, landscape or your own home. Another popular use of Hexapath is to fill it with a high quality rootzone mix of sand and soil, and sew grass seed to create an eye-catching, functional path for areas of frequent use.
Hexapath Grass & Gravel Paving System
High wear areas are a result of continuous pedestrian and vehicular traffic using pathways, walk-offs, golf cart and buggy paths all of which consume manpower, materials and cost in order to keep them functional. Wear and tear of grass is a phenomenon of golf but can be reduced dramatically by installing Hexapath in these high wear locations.
Increasingly, the demands on the management of grass on a golf course are to ensure sustainable growth with considerations to environmental and economic issues, this has to be achieved without sacrificing playing quality to a significant degree. Similarly pathways are a constant drain on resources, repairing and replacing these essential elements on a golf course.
Additional applications for Hexapath include vehicular parking, roadway hard shoulders, driveways, roof gardens, slope stabilisation, caravan parks, light aircraft and helicopter landing pads and many more situations where the stabilisation of grass or gravel is required.
