Shade tolerant. It is important to alleviate soil compaction and use a pre-seed fertiliser prior to sowing.
When cutting, it is important to keep the mower blades relatively high eg: 25mm. This mixture now benefits from the inclusion of the shade tolerant SUPRA Poa supina.
This also has the added benefit of providing wear tolerance. Persistent. Good ground cover. Drought tolerant.
Mixture- 40% ADINDA (Strong Creeping Red Fescue)
- 20% FRIDA (Chewings Fescue)
- 15% RAISA (Chewings Fescue)
- 15% EVORA (Smooth Stalked Meadow Grass)
- 5% HIGHLAND (Browntop Bent)
- 2.5% ABERROYAL (Bent Grass)
- 2.5% SUPRA (Smooth Stalked Meadow Grass).
Sowing rate 35gm per sq m.
