This mixture is designed to give high quality fine turf for areas receiving intensive wear particularly for sandy soils. The cultivars Bargreen, Barcrown and Baroxi are all highly rated and are very fine-leaved with short growth.

The inclusion of smooth-stalked meadowgrass offers excellent recovery from damage due to its rhizomatous growth habit.

• 30% Barcrown Slender creeping red fescue
• 25% Baroxi Chewings fescue 25%
• 25% Bargreen Chewings fescue
• 15% Julius Smooth-stalked meadowgrass
• 5% Highland Browntop bent

• Sowing rate 20-30g per m2
  
• Sowing depth 2-4mm
  
• Oversowing rate 10-20g per m2
  
• Mowing height down to 7mm
