Quality Guarantee
The batches of play sand are regularly checked by the laboratories to guarantee the highest possible standards both at the quarry and by independent safety laboratories before safety certificates can be issued.
The particle size of play sands fall into the following range; trace 1 mm down to trace 63 micron with the majority falling in the 355 to 125 micron range. The grain shape is sub-rounded to avoid abrasion. This is very important should the sand particle get into to the eye as it can be easily washed out. Particle size also plays an important part in the moulding characteristics of the sand, enhancing its qualities as a play material.

We will do our best to deliver as close to the property if access allows. We are not able to carry materials up paths or to rear gardens. Access to sites must be on hard roads over which a vehicle can pass without sustaining or causing damage of any kind.
It is the customer's responsibility to let us know if there are access difficulties, low bridges, narrow single lanes, weight limit roads, steep or gravel driveways or hills. Please call 01902 440250 in advance if you have any concerns. See Terms and Delivery.
