Insecticides are used to control chafer grubs, leatherjackets, prevent earthworms from casting. Insecticide can be used to control mealybugs, whitefly, scale insects, aphids, red spider mites, beetles, aphids, blackfly, greenfly, caterpillars and white fly and many other potential pest problems.

Professional Insecticides

Insecticide is a term used where professional products requiring a licence are used. These are chemical products for insect control; as an insect killer they remove the problem before symptoms appear.

Their method of application is either through spraying onto the turf or via granular application followed by sufficient irrigation to ensure that it is washed through the thatch layer and into the soil.
