How To Install ReBound Rubber Play Chips

ReBound Rubber Play Chippings are relatively easy to install, allowing instant use of the play area after being laid... because we know how special playtime is!

Ideally, treat the area with a weed killer and spread a permeable membrane within the area to discourage any further weed or grass growth.

Choose your required depth - in many play situations 100mm per square metre will suffice, see BS EN 1177:1998 guidelines for impact absorptions. One bulk bag of ReBound Rubber Play Chips will cover 11 square metres at that depth.

Spread ReBound Rubber Play Chippings evenly, making sure any hard framework is outside the area of fall - then let them play!

How much ReBound Rubber Chippings do I need?

Re-Bound Rubber Chippings if laid to a depth of 5cm (2”) can protect your child for a fall of up to 1.4 metres (4’6”). However, we recommend at least 10 cm (4”) is laid around the immediate area of the play equipment, this ensures there is always a good coverage in the busy areas.
