A new outlet for John Deere lawn equipment
Director Lee Thomas explains: "We jumped at the chance to take on such a prestigious brand. Everyone knows John Deere for its agricultural tractors, but there's an equally impressive line-up of lawn tractors, as well as walk-behind mowers and scarifiers. The John Deere range is a great addition to our showroom."
T & H Power Products is a family business at heart, with managing director Ted Thomas, his wife Doreen and son Lee making up nearly half the staff of seven people. They've been at the same premises in Burscough for 13 years, building their reputation on first class, personal service at competitive prices.
"We're lucky in that we get a lot of word of mouth recommendations, and repeat business is key for us," says Lee. "We have customers who've been with us for over 10 years. It's not just about selling a machine - parts and servicing and after-sales customer care are so important."
John Deere Limited is the world's largest manufacturer of agricultural, turf, construction and forestry machinery, with 177 years of experience. The company's worldwide homeowner business celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2013.
