Foremost Golf and Golf Car UK sign Strategic Agreement
Foremost Golf, the largest buyer and seller of golf products in the United Kingdom and Golf Car UK, the national distributor of E-Z-GO vehicles based in Amesbury, Wiltshire, have signed a strategic agreement to provide golf club owners, managers and professionals with value added golf car packages. E-Z-GO is a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company.
Purchasers of the Foremost package will not only have access to the latest RXV golf car from E-Z-GO, but also a range of genuine E-Z-GO accessories valued at £600 and additional enhancing products along with free vouchers from other selected suppliers that provide a total of almost £1300 of added value per golf car.
Commenting at the recent signing of the agreement at E-Z-GO's European headquarters in Ipswich, Chris Ivess-Mash of Golf Car UK said, "When we began talking to Foremost it was immediately obvious that the two businesses had the same ethos and ethics; a desire to provide not just products, but business solutions to the golf course operator. Both companies are highly professional in outlook and view this as an exclusive long term partnership. We are delighted to sign this agreement with Foremost and with the outstanding support we've received from E-Z-GO, which enable us to continue delivering excellence and driving revenue."
Graham Starkey, Business Development Manager at Foremost Golf added, "Foremost was formed back in 1984 primarily as a buying group with just 11 club professionals as members. We now have a membership of over 1000 and have invested significantly to broaden the service offering to our members. This strategic partnership with Golf Car UK will provide clubs and professionals with easy access to golf cars, be it a few cars or a large fleet, but with the added value and additional benefits to ensure that the Golf Car UK/Foremost package offers unrivalled value to golf clubs and golf professionals alike."
