Swiss Greenkepers visit 456
Twenty six French-speaking Swiss greenkeepers visited Ransomes Jacobsen's International headquarters in Ipswich recently, hosted by the company's French distributor and their dealer for the region, Vaudaux S.A.

The two-day visit was organised with the support of the Swiss Greenkeepers' Association.

Following a recent change in marketing responsibilities, Ransomes Jacobsen France, has added the French-speaking cantons in Switzerland to its trading territory, which also includes France, Corsica and North Africa.

On arrival at the Ipswich facility, the visitors were greeted by Sales Director Rupert Price, who provided an overview of the Textron group of companies and Ransomes Jacobsen's position within the corporate structure.

He then provided an overview of the products produced in Ipswich and Charlotte in the USA, before the group split into two for a comprehensive tour of the manufacturing facilities.

Thanks to the mild weather, the guests were able to take the opportunity to try a selection of machines on the RJ National, Ransomes Jacobsen's three-hole golf course, the only manufacturer of commercial mowers in the world to have their own golf course for testing products in situ.
