Vredo wins Gold Four Leaf Clover for dual dosage system

The latest addition to the Campey Turf Care systems range of Vredo overseeders is the award winning Vredo Sport Series featuring a dual dosage system

Vredo Dodewaard BV recently won the Gold Four Leaf Clover award for the most outstanding innovation in Groen Techniek Holland in Biddinghuizen 2015 for the Sports Series which it developed in co-operation with Limagrain Advanta.

The jury on the innovation award declared that it was given to Vredo because of the following innovative features of the DDS system; it enables two seeds (grasses) to be simultaneously planted in one pass. The amount and working depth of both types of seed can be set independently of each other.

This ensures that both seeds get the optimum conditions for each to germinate. For example, by sowing Poa Pratensis seed at the same time as English ryegrass but at a different selected depth and quantity, you can ensure the ideal conditions for its germination. The result is a greater up-take and a denser sward. By sowing in one pass you can save on labour costs and produce faster, better turf.

Campeys will now be able to offer this system to turf professionals in the UK.
