Wiedenmann UK dealer staff get first look at SIX new products ahead of Saltex

Over 60 British and Irish dealer staff from Wiedenmann UK gathered, 50 km east of Berlin, to get first glimpse of Wiedenmann's six new products ahead of their public launch at Saltex this week.

The dealers got up close working demonstrations of all the new kit led by Wiedenmann Gmbh's R&D team at the A-ROSA Golf & Spa Resort, Bad Saarow, Germany. Two artificial turf maintenance machines were shown on a 3G surface - the Terra Clean 160, a revolutionary groomer and cleaner that removes fine dust particles, and the Terra Clean 100, a new entry level pitch cleaner.

Four further developments for natural turf were also unveiled: the Super Pro FXL-H230 Commercial Out Front Mower, with up to 2.3m cutting width and 'fold on the fly' side wings; the Super 600, Wiedenmann's biggest collector to date with 4.5m³ capacity; the Mega Twister, a 230° blower and the Core Recycler, believed to be a world first which recycles up to 80% of rootzone after hollow coring.

Wiedenmann UK's Managing Director, David Rae, said that in one fell swoop the company had increased its product range by 20% and that he was delighted that continued investment in R&D meant that there was an unprecedented level of new machines to bring to the market.
