SALTEX Preview 2024
The 78th edition of SALTEX, the Sports Amenities Landscaping Trade Exhibition, will be held on 30-31 October at NEC Birmingham.
Under the theme "Uniting the Industry, Powering Progress," this event highlights the advancements in grounds care, landscaping, and environmental sustainability.
After a year of remarkable growth and development within the industry, SALTEX 2024 will welcome back industry giants across three halls, including Kubota, Toro, and ISEKI UK & Ireland, all reaffirming their support for the GMA’s vision of excellence in grounds management. The show will, once again, attract thousands of visitors, reinforcing its status as the premier grounds management exhibition for sharing knowledge and driving industry growth.
SALTEX is also set to welcome an exciting array of new exhibitors, such as Stogger Turf Care, Hayley Group, Ryobi and DEWALT, broadening the horizons of the grounds management industry. These new exhibitors are poised to introduce innovative products, cutting-edge technologies, and sustainable practices that promise to revolutionise the way we think about grounds management.
A key attraction of SALTEX is the Learning LIVE programme, offering professional development opportunities through over 20 sessions by industry pioneers and experts. Highlights include speakers like UEFA's Stadium Operations and Pitch Expert Lee Guerriero, CEO of The Football Foundation Robert Sullivan, and LABOSPORT Group's Professor David James. The schedule includes a brand-new Community Sports Stage and discussions on current industry topics, providing visitors with valuable insights and CPD points.
The Grounds Management Association, a not-for-profit organisation, reinvests revenue from SALTEX back into the industry. Due to SALTEX 2023's success, the GMA subsidised 67% of its membership, supporting grounds management professionals and students. Additionally, revenue from the exhibition subsidised 1,900 GMA training courses, advancing the skills and knowledge of industry professionals.
