Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm
Pay & holiday: £22,000 - £24,000 per annum, plus 28 days holiday entitlement plus bank holidays. As well as a variety of fantastic training opportunities to further develop your skills and education

Lord Wandsworth College seeks an experienced/qualified and enthusiastic individual for the post of Groundsperson. The Groundsperson will help maintain the College playing surfaces, sports and amenity surfaces to the highest standards. The Groundsperson will use their technical expertise and detailed operational expertise to ensure safe and consistent quality playing surfaces are always available.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Cricket pitch preparation
• Sports pitch marking
• Spraying and fertilising
• Pitch renovation
• Grass cutting
• Tractor and machinery driving
• Hand mowing
• Strimming
• Hedge cutting

Qualifications, skills and experience:

• NVQ Level 2 in Sports Turf or equivalent
• A minimum of 3 years practical experience
• Proven knowledge of horticulture and gardening
• PA1, PA2, PA6 (desirable)
• IOG Cricket training levels 1 & 2 (desirable)
