Regional Account Manager - North East England (Turf Amenity)

East Riding Horticulture are looking for a Regional Account Manager who is focused, driven and passionate about amenity turf.

Working alongside our specialist team of Turf & Amenity Account Managers , you will have adaptable communication skills and the tenacity to drive sales of East Riding Horticulture Turf & Amenity range and provide professional advice to customers. Reporting directly to the Amenity Sales Manager with ongoing interactions with the marketing team. This is a role for an individual who is a team player with the drive and the ability to work alone and be self-motivated in assisting a broad spectrum of customers.

Location/Hours
Monday – Friday (8.00am - 5.00pm – no weekends)
Field based (North East England) and remote-working.

Job Role and Responsibilities
• Building long term relationships with existing customers
• Provide an excellent and efficient service to all customers
• Generating new customers through actively pursuing cold, warm, and qualified leads
• Ensure customers have a good understanding of our product portfolio
• Processing of customer orders
• Actioning customer queries, calls and emails promptly in a polite and professional manner
• Keeping customers up to date with the latest practices, products, and promotions

Skills and Attributes
• Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office and preferable a CRM system
• Polite, courteous and customer-focused
• Excellent communication, influencing and problem-solving skills
• Professional and friendly communication skills when conversing either face to face, over the phone or by email
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent customer relationship management
• Highly organised
• A great team player with the drive and the ability to work alone and be self-motivated
• Positive team ethos
• Full clean driving license
• Willingness to learn

Desirable Skills
• Experience in sports turf management
• Practical knowledge of the turf and amenity industry
