The position is also expected to include some work preparing wickets for another local cricket club (roughly 5 hours a week during the season) and a similar amount of work at a local school from April to July.
Self-contained accommodation can be provided at the club if required, suitable for either a single person or a couple. If a couple, there may be revenue-earning opportunities for a partner.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Maintaining the squares and outfields
• Providing high quality pitches and wickets for around 100 matches a season, including for the junior section
• Assisting with the scheduling of junior matches/wickets and some third party adult matches

• Working with and maintaining various types of machinery and equipment

• A similar amount of time preparing wickets for a local school from April to July
If resident, the applicant will also be expected to:
• Lock the gates and the clubhouse each evening and open them in the morning
• Help keep the clubhouse and surround tidy, as required
A flexible approach is needed to working hours, with greater input needed from March to October than in the winter months.

• A full UK driving licence
