FOOTBALL AID UK 2002

Dear Ground Staff,

I write to thank you for all your support and encouragement in helping to make Football Aid UK 2002 such a success.

When the referee blew for full time at Bolton Wanderers on the 26th May he brought to a close the 54th game played since we kicked off at Norwich City on the 8th April this year.

Football Aid is reaching many millions of people who now have a better awareness of the support that the Football Industry gives to society. A year ago, we set out to ensure that your involvement with Football Aid would add value to the community and customer relations activities of your club, as well as those of the Leagues. We continue to work on Football's reputation gain through our PR activities, engaging as we do, a global audience. We are also making grant awards in support of your club's preferred charities, as well as offering our expertise in charity relations and support issues. Equally importantly, we continue to invest in juvenile diabetes research projects (most notably insouthampton shirts.jpg

This year's event has been a great success at your club and I would like to record our thanks to you and your colleagues for doing so much to make the day so memorable for all concerned. We fully recognise the demands placed upon professional clubs for access to their pitch, and are grateful to you for continuing to support our project.

We believe that with your continued support, Football Aid UK can now go on to become a strong and significant brand that promotes football in a very positive light, can act as a major contributor to charities through our central grant management system, and can continue to be an exciting means of engaging with an international fan base whilst offering them a unique opportunity to 'live the dream' of playing at your stadium.

Kind regards

Yours sincerely

Grahame Paterson
