Adamsons is a longstanding groundscare dealership with over 70 years of experience. The business was originally appointed by John Deere as a full-line turf equipment dealer in 1998, covering east and north Yorkshire and the north and north-east of Lincolnshire. It currently employs a total of 42 staff across the two outlets.

"The opening of this new depot in Lincolnshire represents a significant moment in our history, and we are committed to providing the same high standards of customer service and support across the new sales area," says dealer principal John Adamson, who manages the family-owned business with his brother Mike.

"Alongside new depot manager John Adamson Jnr, we have appointed five new staff at Langworth, all recruited locally, including two new service technicians and three sales staff, backed by a comprehensively stocked parts department. Once the new outlet becomes established, we hope to be able to employ more staff from the area."

In addition to John Deere's full line of professional turf and garden equipment, Adamsons' other leading franchises include Allett, Briggs & Stratton, Charterhouse, Echo, Hayter, Honda, Husqvarna, Lastec and Stihl.

"Adamsons is an established business with a strong focus on first class customer and product support," says John Deere's UK & Ireland turf division sales manager Chris Meacock. "This latest expansion is consistent with our dealer development strategy, and underlines our continued efforts to build the strongest possible dealership network for turf equipment in the UK."
