With an ever-increasing product portfolio, and with the kit becoming more and more complex, there is a continuing need to offer more support to dealers and end customers alike.
End users need the very best of advice, both pre-sales and after-sales and so, as one of Europe's leading machinery manufacturers, it is imperative that Amazone Ltd have the correct product support staff in place. With this in mind, Amazone are pleased to announce the recruitment of three new faces to the GB team:
Hugh Snow joins Amazone Ltd as Groundcare Territory Sales Manager for the South. Working alongside Joe Weston, Amazone Groundcare Sales Manager, Hugh brings a wealth of experience from a role in dealer support that has been gained over 20 years in the turf care industry and will look after Amazone Groundcare sales in an area from M62 southwards.
With the recent introduction of both the new Profihopper 4WDi, as well as the two-wheel drive Profihopper 1250 iDrive, the demand for the product from local authorities, contractors and private gardens has never been greater and Hugh is relishing the chance to get out there and show customers what the new machines can do.
Robert Henley joins Amazone Ltd in the role of in-house customer service support. There is a constant need for customers and dealers to be able always to get hold of somebody on the phone, especially when it comes to fertiliser spreader settings as well as parts & service queries, training, processing warranty claims, etc, etc. Rob again brings with him plenty of experience gained in the industry; as a farmer's son, current dealer workshop practice, and latterly, from working in a specialist sprayer support business.
Rob takes over from Gareth Jones, who cut his teeth with Amazone Ltd in this role, but who has now been promoted to field support as a Technical Support Engineer looking after an area from South Wales across the Kent. This new appointment also strengthens the in-field customer support offered by Amazone Ltd.
And last but not least, in-house, the logistics team has also been expanded to include Andrew Hunt. Reporting to Ian Caulkett, logistics manager, Andrew will look after all aspects of preparing machines prior to dispatch included building models up to customer specification, fitting any optional equipment required as well as kitting out the Active Centre ahead of seminars, training and visits, demonstration fleet maintenance, whole goods stock control and also assisting in the parts department where required,
This appointment means that Steve Cargill is then freed up to utilise yet another investment by Amazone Ltd of a second lorry on the fleet for new ma-chinery deliveries plus show and demonstration support.
These changes mean that Amazone Ltd is now able to further offer an even stronger level of support to our customer base across the board: in parts, logistics, service and sales.
