Ten years ago, Etesia pioneered the development of the UK's first ride-on brushcutter - an experience which puts this innovative manufacturer streaks ahead of the competition and has earned Attila a well established reputation for being the country's number one machine in its class.

For this cutting season, Etesia has upgraded their Attila AK85 - this rugged ride-on brushcutter is now fitted with the latest twin-cylinder 15hp Kawasaki engine, giving it plenty of power for clearing brushwood, saplings, grass and weeds. Whatever the vegetation - if Attila can push it over it is reduced to a tidy mulch! This little workhorse speedily and cost effectively clears scrub and overgrown vegetation in woodlands; headlands and public rights-of-way.

The machine's 85cm cutting width makes it ideal for inter-row work on tree plantations or for sites where access is restricted.

For the operator, the highly manoeuvrable Attila is extremely easy to use and comfortable to drive. Forward and reverse speeds can be quickly adjusted to match the volume of material passing through the cutting unit - thus allowing it time to clear the deck and reduce the risk of blockages.

Low centre of gravity plus heavy tread tyres ensure stability on slopes up to 30 degrees and a hand-operated diff-lock provides extra traction on difficult terrain. Attila AK85 has a welded tubular chassis for extra strength and a heavy-duty steel deck with 7mm thick cutterbar with swinging blades - these can be fixed for cutting short grass.

Also available is the Attila AV95 - a 95cm brushcutter powered by a Briggs & Stratton twin-cylinder 18hp engine. For smaller sites, the pedestrian 51cm Attila AV51 has a powerful 6hp Kawasaki OHVFC 180V and makes light work of clearing overgrown vegetation and scrub.
