Bags more for tree surgeons

Tony Hawkinsin Industry News

The DMM Porter range of bags, from Sorbus International, are reported to be highly popular with tree surgeons and contractors for carrying ropes and climbing equipment.

Made from heavy duty N500D x 500D Tarpaulin for strength and durability they come in 45 and 70 litre sizes with a blow-moulded back panel and substantial carry system.

Their size and adaptability make them ideal for carrying larger loads over greater distances than the regular types of bag.

Featuring a detachable waterproof lid and draw cord closure, the interior has a pocket and tie-off loops for rope ends.

On the outside there is reflective piping for night locating, daisy chain webbing for kit connection and top compression straps for additional kit, together with heavy duty top handles.

The rucksack straps are removable for easy hauling. The Porter 45 and Porter 70 have a height of 620cm and weigh 1170g and 1400g respectively.

"They were flying off our stand at shows around the country this year," say Sorbus, "and we are continuing to offer them at very competitive prices."
