kawasaki strimmerBartram Mowers Ltd, based in Eaton, Norwich have been awarded a contract to supply over 50 Kawasaki Power Products to Ground Control Ltd, a national Grounds Maintenance company first formed in 1973.

Ground Control already maintains the open space for large national retailers and local authorities and was awarded the contract to maintain a number of RAF bases. Les Godfrey from Ground Control who is responsible for the RAF contract commented, "We have always favoured the Kawasaki machines for their quality and performance as we demand a lot from our machines. The Kawasaki Power Products seem to relish the challenging conditions we work in."

Founded just a year before Ground Control, Bartram Mowers is celebrating its 40th year in business and constantly strives to deliver perfection with the supply and maintenance/service of top branded turf care Power Products. Danny Lake from Bartram Mowers added, "It was great when we became a Kawasaki Power Products Dealer last year which meant we could supply the whole range of Kawasaki machines at very competitive prices. On top of the 50 or so machines we have already supplied, it looks like Ground Control is going to take some more of the powerful Kawasaki Backpack Blowers."

Due to the adverse weather conditions experienced during last summer, Ground Control had limited time to carry out their contracted work with the RAF. Les Godfrey added, "Due to a very tight schedule, we needed to find a supplier we could rely on for the initial supply and any on-going maintenance of our fleet. Bartram Mowers have delivered before and they have done it again!"

Richard Harris, European Business Development Manager for Kawasaki added, "Bartram's has exceeded our expectations since being appointed last year and I am sure their professional and customer focused approach contributed significantly to winning this contract."
