steve nixonSteve Nixon, European Sales Manager of Bernhard and Company is delighted to announce the appointment of four new distributors in Europe.

"We have joined forces with four exceptional companies and this will expand our customer base across the northern part of Europe, where interest in our products has been growing steadily. We consider these companies to be the best in terms of customer knowledge and care and we are excited with the new challenges this will bring.

Delta Cinco, based in Palencia, Spain, just north of Madrid will cover Central and Northern Spain and the Canary Islands for us." Managing Director, Javier Delgado said " We are delighted to join forces with Bernhard and Company as they are a highly respected company and a world-leading manufacturer of mower sharpening equipment. Their brand will be a great addition to our product portfolio and we look forward to a successful working relationship with them. "

Steve Nixon said, "Delta Cinco are a very professional distribution business in ground care and agriculture. They have a good reputation and a strong customer base. Our new relationship with them will give us an excellent national representation in Spain, and I'm excited to be working with Javier and the team.

We are also very thrilled to have sold a pair of Bernhard grinders to the stunning new Jack Nicklaus Course opening shortly in Madrid. "

In Sweden we have appointed LHS from Sundsvall, who will cover the vast area of North Sweden, and in the South, GVM who are based near Malmo. Our existing distributors, who we have worked closely with for many years, Svenningsens continue to look after central Sweden. This will really open up the Swedish market for us."

In Germany we have appointed Hamburg based Golf Kontor who will now cover the whole of Germany and Austria, alongside Ulrich Kaiser, who runs our Heidelberg office. Ulrich and Golf Kontor Managing Director, Tim Gaglemann go back a long way.

"These appointments", Steve continued, " will make a big difference to our existing clients, and will extend our opportunities to reach new clients and develop sales in these regions. Our impressive new manufacturing facility and training centre in England, formally opening on October 18, is also going to be a massive boost to our support and educational contributions to all our European partners. We see this as a dynamic and important approach to marketing in these very challenging economic times.

The turf industry has seen significant changes over the last few years. The opening of our new facility and the establishment of new distribution in Europe and other parts of the world position us ready to grow our business and to consolidate our position as global leader in the mower sharpening arena. We are quietly confident and optimistic about the future"
