Big growth at TYM Tractors

TYM new factory opening ceremony
To support its robust expansion plans, TYM Tractors have opened a new Factory in Iksan, Korea. The plant, that was officially opened earlier this year, took two and a half years to complete and has 10 acres floor space, enabling the company to now produce 20,000 tractors a year.

Chris Harris of TYM UK said, "This is fantastic for TYM, not just in the UK, but as a global brand. The situation of the new facility in Iksan is ideal as it is close to the TYM R&D Institute and the head office in Seoul. This will ultimately result in a smooth transition from the production line to end customer".

Amongst the dignitaries at the opening ceremony were the Bulgarian and Rwandan ambassadors to Korea, the Mayor of Iksan City and the Chairman or TYM, Hi-Yong Kim. TYM distributors from all over the world also attended.

"TYM Tractors manufacture quality, stylish products that have many standard features offered as extras by other manufactures", commented Chris. "I enjoy a close relationship with my colleagues, and I saw first hand at the opening of the new facility that the product, support and supply chain will continue achieving the excellence that we pride ourselves on today".

With TYM currently introducing the 100hp tractor model into the UK market, 2011 looks to be an exciting year for the company.
