Bolton Wanderers sign three year contract with ETT & Yara

bolton.jpgAt a recent press conference Bolton Wanderers, Environmental Turf Technology and Yara announced the signing of a three year contract for the supply of fertilisers to Bolton Wanderers.

It was felt that Bolton Wanderers F.C and Richard Norton (Grounds Manager) had formed an excellent working relationship with Yara, Richard Lawrence and all the team at ETT.

Richard Norton commented, "Over the past 3 seasons, our association with Richard and all the ETT team has progressively grown, even stretching to a carvery lunch with the girls now and then.

We now have a 3 year deal with ETT, to exclusively supply Bolton Wanderers FC with all their fertilizer needs.

We presently have 3 sites all using Yara products both granule and liquid, and are currently developing our 40 acre Lostock Academy site, were with the aid of ETT and YARA products, we will be bring it all into play for this pre seasons training".

Richard Lawrence of ETT commented that he was delighted that all the work by Richard Norton, Yara and the team at ETT in developing new products specific to soccer stadia has been recognised by Bolton Wanderers. This is ETTs first 3 year contract with a Premier League club and signals our determination to work with leading Groundsman.

John Keyte of Yara said that all at Yara have been delighted with the continued involvement at Bolton Wanderers FC and Environmental Turf Technology Ltd. The
attention to detail in turf management under the demanding conditions of a long football season by Richard Norton at the Reebok has been a big success.

Together with the agronomy advice and amenity industry expertise from Richard Lawrence the three way relationship has proved to be a winning combination.

Richard Lawrence went on to say that they would offer a package exclusively to Premier League Groundsmen whereby ETT would spend half of what the club spent with ETT back with the club on advertising on perimeter boards, or other forms of sponsorship .

This was good for the club and good for the groundsman as the Groundsman would be seen to be bringing revenue to the club as well as providing the best playing surfaces.
