Boris Johnson warning shot on Royal Parks 'budget dumping'

London mayor Boris Johnson has warned the coalition not to transfer the Royal Parks to his financial remit in a "budget dumping" exercise.

The mayor spoke after mounting speculation that the Government aims to hive off control of the eight historic parks.
