0 Campey sale to Northern Ireland

recycling_dresser.jpgCampey Turf Care Systems, the specialist suppliers of professional grounds maintenance equipment, have made their first sale to Northern Ireland with the supply of Koro machinery to Hortasoil Ltd of Portadown, Co. Armagh.

The order included a 2m-wide Koro Field Top Maker, whose blades skim off a layer of soil to rejuvenate the ground. Set high, the blades create a smooth, level surface, while set low they also remove thatchy material and shallow-rooting grasses. Horta Soils have also chosen a Koro Recycling Dresser 1650 unit, a cost-effective 1.65m-wide machine that breaks up compacted soil and recycles material from below the surface as a fine top-dressing ready for seeding.

"I was hugely impressed when I saw these Koro machines in action in Holland, where they are manufactured," says Hortasoil's Managing Director Clive Richardson. "I've never seen anything quite like them for performance and value-for-money."

Richard Campey, founder and Managing Director of Campey Turf Care Systems believes that Northern Ireland represents a ripe market opportunity. "The Koro units are going to create quite a stir, owing to their innovative qualities and the results they achieve, which are already appreciated by turf professionals throughout the rest of the UK," he says.
