Koro FTM in work
Ever seen a Koro Field Top Maker in action on a golf fairway? The chances are you haven't. Although commonly used on sports pitches, golf has yet to embrace the concept of 'koro-ing' as part of the renovation programme.

This is all about to change. After successful fairway renovations using the Koro FTM in Switzerland, Campey Turf Care is embarking on a programme of education and demonstration on the golf courses in the UK and Ireland.

The first full demonstration is on June 4th at Naas Golf Club, Co. Kildare, Ireland. The Koro FTM will be stripping 1500 sq. metres of turf from a fairway, followed by aerating with an Imants Shockwave, levelling and re-seeding.

This is a superb opportunity for professional course managers and greenkeepers to see how effective koro-ing can be on a golf course. This is especially significant for a sport which demands maximum use of its turfed areas throughout the year.

As well as the Koro FTM in action with the Universe® and Terraplane® Rotors, there will be an opportunity to see the Imants Rotoknife, Raycam Speedresser and speedharrows, the Dakota spreader and the new 1.8m model of Vredo Super compact seeder with unique double disc system.

Brian O'Shaughnessy, Campey Product Specialist in Ireland extends his own personal invite "If you are interested in discovering innovative new ways of tackling age old dilemmas, then it will be a day well spent! I look forward to seeing you on the 4th at Naas GC."

On completion Naas Golf Course will benefit from a newly renovated fairway with the turf in prime condition. With the professional care and maintenance of the Naas greens staff it will remain in top condition for years to come.

The day begins at 10am and runs until 4pm. Attendance is free and you can see more details on-line at http://www.campeyturfcare.com/events.html
