CLUB CAR SHAPE UP FOR NEW SEASON

Club Car, the # 1 golf car manufacturer and recognised industry leaders in golf vehicle efficiency and performance, has announced a series of internal promotions and new appointments.

The reorganisation of the European arm of Club Car marks an important step in the company's bid to dominate the golf and light commercial vehicle sector across the entire European Served Area (ESA).

Neil Woodfin, has been appointed Sales Director for Europe, Africa & The Middle East. He replaces, Ian Burnett, who has been promoted to a new role within Ingersoll Rand, Club Car's parent company.

Neil has an extensive track record in international markets. He brings to Club Car, experience gained during the 14 years he spent working for leading turf companies including Textron, New Holland and Ford Motor Company.

Neil is delighted to join the already successful ESA team and has begun by setting himself one important goal, "My goal is really a simple one; to bring satisfaction to our customers, employees and distributors. We hope to create a sense of loyalty that our competitors can only dream of."

John Mooney, who has been employed as Club Car's European Technical Representative for several years, has been rewarded for his consistent high performance, particularly during last year's Ryder Cup, with a sales role covering Southern Europe.

Kevin Hart is now Business Development Manager for Europe, The Middle East & Africa and is responsible for developing relationships with large golf accounts, including hotels & resorts. Club Car has identified this market as an important area to concentrate their efforts on in 2003.

Martin Lucashas become responsible for development of the company's Irish business, in addition to his similar role in the UK, and Steen Scherff has taken on the N. Africa region as an extension of his current role.

These personnel changes are designed to deliver strength and depth to the Club Car team, and demonstrate Club Car's intention to build on it's already strong position in Europe, The Middle East & Africa.
