Kubota Tractor & Sisis Auto Rotorake 19 11 2011 003A recent break in at Aston Rowant CC has devastated the club, thieves stole their new tractor and various pieces of equipment. A club spokesmen , said " It's very sole destroying when you work so hard to get the new equipment and then someone feels it's their right to steal it, We lost in total a new tractor, new scarifier a 250 litre sprayer, hand held leaf blowers ,strimmers and mowers".

Aston Rowant is run by a team of volunteers who dedicate endless hours of their spare time to the club so that it runs smoothly. This year was the first year that they had managed to get all the equipment required to maintain their club facilities including their new additional ground.

The club are keen to hear from anybody who may be offered this equipment and warn people that thieves are operating and possibly targeting other sports clubs in the area.

The loss of this equipment can be very damaging to the club, in terms of not being able to prepare their pitches and outfield, the loss of games will be very detrimental to the club in more ways than one.
